Current News - in 2026 Chris is looking forward to:

  • Writing a new chapter book for children.

  • Seeking support for, completing, and seeking performance for a new suite for organ, a string quartet, and a work for solo cello.

  • Editing and continuing to submit the novel drafted in 2025.

  • Releasing the children’s book “When We Say Goodnight” (2023) to the public again.

  • Completing the final production details a children’s book drafted in 2025, written by Ann Moody, with art by Jason Lind, and releasing for distribution through Paper Museum Books.

  • Beginning a new children’s book project.

  • Returning to teaching guitar and literacy through Honett Studio.

  • And hopefully, working with friends in the recording studio this year to complete some new songs.

In 2025 Chris:

  • Researched and drafted a full-length book for a client.

  • Produced the draft of a new children’s book for Ann Moody, with art by Jason Lind.

  • Completed the draft of his first novel, under review.

  • Completed a a series of Preludes & Offertories for organ for the First Presbyterian Church in Gallipolis.

  • Began seeking support for a new 5-movement suite for pipe organ, a solo cello work, and a string quartet, as well as a vocal + ensemble work around traditional Appalachian instruments.
